2finder Editor's Review

2finder is a small program that opens two Finder windows in order to move quickly your files.

This version comes as a Universal binary, compatible with both PPC and Intel Macs. It is compatible with Panther and with Tiger versions of Mac OS X.

Every time you launch the application you can chose how it should open the two Finder windows. You can pick either to be aligned as columns or to be aligned as rows.

I liked the fact that this program detects the screen resolution and the type of the screen. It opens the two windows by using the maximum space available on your screen.

I find in this application a pretty useful tool. You won't have to install a file manager that can use two file browsers interface because the file management in Mac OS doesn't have a 'Cut' functionality.

Pluses: it is a pretty useful tool when you need to move your files.

Drawbacks / flaws: it is a beta release so you might get unexpected behavior. I didn't get any crashes but this is not a guarantee.

In conclusion: it is free for your pockets and it has good functionality. It's worth trying it.
